For a festival that’s only been around since 2011, the Governors Ball Music Festival on Randall’s Island in New York City can certainly bring out big names. Last year was a doozy festival once again, with headlining acts Drake, Deadmau5, Bjork, the Black Keys, Florence + the Machine and Lana Del Rey in tow. Ryan Adams, Tame Impala, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Death from Above 1979 and St. Vincent are also booked to play this year’s festival.
Aside from the music, there will also be other activities such as lawn games, art installations and even a silent disco.
Wristbands for the whole weekend are on sale now, and cost $260 plus fees and shipping.
