The California heat might be blistering during the day, and you might find yourself in the midst of tons and tons of people, but the experience is oh so worth it. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is often regarded as one of the best in the world, and many of the biggest musical acts – both established and up-and-coming – flock to Indio for the three-day festival taking place over two weekends with identical lineups.
This year, the Empire Polo Club will be graced by returns of headliners LCD Soundsystem, Guns N Roses and Calvin Harris among others. Newer acts like Major Lazer, Sufjan Stevens, Lord Huron, Of Monster & Men, The Arcs, The Kills will also take the stages at the festival. Canadian BadBadNotGood and Alvvays are also on the bill.
Unfortunately, passes for this year’s festival are sold out, so you might be out of luck unless you manage to score a wristband through Craigslist.
